  Treats and giveaways will be available daily in our branches for all of our members.

• There is a coloring contest for kids with winners receiving $20 VISA Gift Cards.  Members of HCCU under the age of 13 who complete the International Credit Union Day Coloring Sheet and return it to either branch of the credit union by Saturday, October 22nd will be entered into a drawing for a $20 VISA gift card! Stop at a branch or go to http://horizonccu.com/MemberServicesDetail.php?SID=97 to print a coloring sheet.

• HCCU Employees will be performing 84 Random Acts of Kindness in our communities in the weeks leading up to International Credit Union Day.  That’s 1 act of kindness for each year we’ve been a credit union!
  

Enter our HCCU anniversary giveaway!

Horizon Community Credit Union will be celebrating its 83rd anniversary by doing a giveaway!

In order to be entered into the drawing you need to do the following:

1. - Take a selfie with anything that has our logo on it. Example: HCCU gear, HCCU signs at front of our building, a photo of our logo, etc. (Please make sure to not post pictures of anything that has your personal information on it!)

OR

- Send in a member testimonial telling us why YOU love HCCU! Find the form here. You can drop this off at any of our locations or email it to: info@horizonccu.com

2. Post it on your Facebook and tag Horizon Community Credit Union. (If you have issues tagging us, feel free to post it on our Facebook page!)

3. SMILE!


Restrictions are:

• Only 1 photo per person! You are more than welcome to post more than once, but you will only be entered into the drawing one time.

• No staff or immediate family members. While we encourage staff and their family members to participate and post pictures, they can’t win the prize, sorry!

• Winner must be able to pick up the prize at either of our locations.

• Giveaway is open to members and nonmembers.

The drawing runs from September 14th, 2015 through September 21st, 2015.
We will announce the winner September 22nd, 2015!

Member Appreciation Week Feb. 2–Feb. 6!

We LOVE our members!  We appreciate each and every one of you every day, but the first week of February each year is when we extend a special thank you to all our members for their support and friendship.  Mark your calendars for February 2-February 6, because here are the events we have planned in order to celebrate:

• Lunch will be served Wednesday, February 4^th from 10:30-2:30 at both branches.
• Our annual meeting will be held Wednesday, February 4^th at 5:15 at our Voyager location.  Stop in to find out how 2014 was for HCCU, how we impacted our members and community, and what’s coming in 2015.
• All week we will have lots of HCCU goodies and snacks in both lobbies.
• Enter our drawing anytime that week by stopping in.  Tickets to enter will be given out based on the services you use with HCCU, so see an MSR to enter.  Can’t make it to the celebration?  E-mail us at info@horizonccu.com between 2/2/15 & 2/6/15 and ask us to enter you!  

SunDrops Rewards - The more you use, the more you’re rewarded!

We are pleased to introduce are new member benefit rewards program, SunDrops!  In Northeast WI, we realize there are tons of different financial institutions competing for your business.  We want to show our appreciation for your business and give you EVEN MORE reasons to continue doing business with us.  

So how does it work?  Beginning on 1/1/2015, members will be awarded points for the different services they use.  The more products and services you use, the more points you earn!  The number of points you earn for each product varies – a loan will earn more points than a savings account, for example.  And you don’t have to do anything differently; everyone is automatically enrolled and you earn points for things you’re already doing, like using a Horizon checking account and direct deposit!  Points are totaled up at the end of each month and ranked in four point levels:  Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum. 

Now let’s get to the good part... what do YOU get out of this?  LOTS OF FREE THINGS!   Here is just a sampling of some of the possible rewards:     

• Bronze level members are eligible for free text banking, free online banking & phone banking, free check cashing and free coin counting.
• By being a silver member you can receive all of the bronze level rewards PLUS things such as upgraded statements, free faxing and photocopies, and even one free box of checks!
• If you are a Gold member, you can receive all of the above PLUS annual discounts on a safety deposit box, free cashier’s checks, and loan rate discounts!  
• Our platinum members get all the benefits listed in addition to free wire transfers, free replacement debit/ATM cards, and free overdraft transfers! 

There are SO many great things members can earn through this program.  At each location we have a brochure that lists how many points each service earns, as well as lists what benefits you earn!  You can also preview the program on our webpage at http://www.horizonccu.com/ProductDetail.php?SID=136. Want to know what level you’re at today?  Just ask!  After 1/1/2015, your point totals will also be listed on your monthly statement and in It’sMe247 Online Banking.  If your family has accounts at the credit union, let us know!  We can link accounts by household so that all the members of a family can enjoy the benefits of the top point earner for that month.  If you want to earn more points but aren’t sure how it’s possible to reach the next level, stop in and we would be glad to help create a plan!

We’re all very excited to launch SunDrops!  We know HCCU has the best members out there, and we can’t wait to say thank you by giving everyone some added perks and benefits!
